Our reality has changed, their is no norm. Economically we are experiencing the contractions of both the communist and capitalist theories meeting their limits. Aesthetically the Dada and Situationist moments were historical buffers to the shared social impact of massive economic upheaval in their wake. Both movements were quickly assumed by the political forces that drove their immediate realities. Quietly, since the 60's this battle has continued.
